Edition 57 of the Tirreno-Adriatico starts on Monday 7 March on the Tyrrhenian coast. The race features seven stages and is set to finish on Sunday the 13th, obviously on the Adriatic coast. The Race of the Two Seas dates back to 1966. The race takes in an ITT on the fisrt day of action followed by a mix of chances for fast men, hilly races, and the Queen Stage to Carpegna. An important race in itself, the Tirreno also reveals who the form riders are before the first major classic of the season, Milan-San Remo.
Tadej Pogacar is title holder. The Slovene won last year’s edition ahead of Wout van Aert and Mikel Landa
