Mens 106th edition of the Tour of Flanders will be played out on Sunday 3 April. Short, sharp and often cobbled climbs are emblematic of the grueling nature of the race. The riders leave from Antwerp, while the route usually takes in more than 250 kilometres. In recent years, the cobbled combo up the Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg serves as the finale.
Kasper Asgreen is title holder. Last year, the Dane outgunned Mathieu van der Poel in a two-up sprint before Greg Van Avermaet took third place.
