Visible to: public

Time zone: Sydney
Reminder: None
Ends: 07:00am (duration is about 1 hour)

This ride is open to all women of all abilities and is 100% no-drop – we will stop and regroup at the top of any climbs and roll as one bunch. All you will need is a geared road bike, some enthusiasm and preferably some base bunch riding experience.

05:50 Meetup and safety briefing at Centennial Park Horse Gates. Rolling at 06:00.

On an alternating basis, the route will be 2-3 laps of Centennial Park in a rolling format to meet everyone followed by a ride out to La Perouse (https://www.strava.com/routes/3191291215891626374), and a route with a little more climbing (https://www.strava.com/routes/3190138879472435302). Ride will be ~40km all up with an average rolling pace ~25kmph.

If you’re in anyway unsure of your suitability for the ride please reach out to MC team@mccyclery.cc who are here to help!

Coffee will be served at MC Clubhouse following the ride at about 07:30.

Please RSVP in MC TeamApp.

At the start
- Introduce yourself to the Ride Leader if they have not introduced themselves to you.
- Let the Ride Leader know if you need to leave the ride early and importantly if you are relatively new to cycling.
- Ask questions if you are unsure of the route or any other aspects of the ride.
- The Ride Leader will also introduce the Sweep, responsible for the back of the ride
- It is every rider’s responsibility to listen for and act on calls. For this reason, headphones or earpieces are not to be worn on rides.
